Bio: Have retired from the music scene but my 13 year old son is doing well on electric and double bass, hoping to get him into the conservatorium.

Gear: 5 string Cort GB . Swamp ash body, mahogany neck, rosewood fingerboard. Active mightymite pickups, 1 jazz at neck and a big stingray style humbucker at the bridge. Very tight low B string, excellent neck. Cheap but good. Better than many instruments I tried out that cost twice as much, ( including some made in the same factory but belonging to "name" brands.)

Current Gig(s): Retired. My son played to 2,500 people in support of Vince Jones (Aussie Jazz Legend), 2 weeks ago. He kicked ass!
Day Job: I cook vegetarian food at various music festivals. Get to see an awful lot of very good live music.
