Just got an email from Line 6 announcing the latest iteration of the TonePort series. Now they've re-branded them Pod Studio. The line contains three models, the GX, UX1, and UX2. With the exception of the sexy new black faceplate, these look identical to the previous offerings (I'll follow up after I've had a chance to compare the stats). Noticeably missing from the lineup are the UX8 and KB37. We'll see if they get added later or get dropped.
The software that comes with the Pod Studios has been revamped as well. The version that shipped with the TonePorts was GearBox. The new version is called Pod Farm. I'm not sure yet if the differences are merely cosmetic or are truly functional. But, from the screenshots, it's certainly nice looking and seems to include some usability improvements (providing a Cover Flow-ish idea for amp selection and a list view of saved model configurations, instead of relying on menus and drop-down menus, as GearBox does).
So, if you're considering a USB audio interface, you might want to wait until these are officially released.
