Our tree is naked!!!
Man!! 6 hrs of trimming and now our tree is naked. I would post a pic but I do not want to offend any one. What made it such a pain is the previous owners just hacked at it and now all the branches are intertwined over and over.
Now back to our regular scheduled programming.

We rented up until last year. Now our mortgage is the same as our rent was AND it stays constant and not increase every year like our rent was doing.

We waited a long time to
We waited a long time to buy, but finally did last year. I prefer it to renting. When things crop up, they can be expensive. But I also enjoy the privacy. And I enjoy fixing thing sometimes. I wish I'd made the jump sooner. Property is expensive out here. It's actually cheaper for us to own than rent.

I was born in Tejas and
I was born in Tejas and lived there until about my 13th birthday. At that point, we moved to Huntsville, Arkansas and then I moved on to Fayetteville, Arkansas, where I lived for a long time before making it out here to Charleston, South Carolina (actually Mount Pleasant, SC) so my wife could attend Pharmacy school.
Despite living my whole life in the south, I don't have much of an accent. Unless, of course, you sit me down around a bunch of folks from Philadelphia or something. Then I start to sound really back home. And, when I'm tired, my drawl come out a bit more.

I've lived in South Texas my whole life and never picked up an accent. People think I'm from the North. I don't know why.
We don't get snow here. Just yesterday, I think it was about 75 degrees. Nice. But our summers our painful. 100+ weather usuallys starts up in June. Fun stuff.
