Help, My 65 fender twin re-issue is on the injured reserve list

jimi66's picture

Dear fellow Bass players, I am wondering if anyone has any advice. The fuse plug on the back of my fender twin reverb somehow melted :( and it's been reduced to a table. Actually I just can't figure out if the plug is fried. I can't get the old fuse out. OK the plug is toast but I can't seem to get the old fuse out . Any Ideas ? I would like to do it myself if possible. Cash is an issue right now. Has anyone else ever had this happen ? If so let me know .

Thanks , Jimi

if the plug is mellted....

if the plug the fuse goes in is melted then why not just take out the entire fuse plug and replace it....likely find a replacement fuse holder at http://www.parts-express.com

if possible could you post of pic of what it looks like....might be able to help you figure something out...
