I think this is a great idea. We might call it "recording hardware/software" or just "recording gear" and then we could review all manner of things releated to DAWs.
I also want to add a CD review option with seperate ratings for the CD overall and for the bassplaying on the CD. I think that will be fun and will give everyone an easy way to contribute. Over time, we'll build a library of CDs other bassists will want to check out.
