Ideas ... ????? Input...???

Alright, I know we have the "Reviews" that can be posted but I was thinking (which is not always a safe thing) that we could put a couple stickies in the gear forum that will not have full reviews but quick answers to some of the gear questions newb's might have on what other musicians are using and why.

Like the thread from 51 that I stuck up top I was also thinking of doing the same with amps/cab/combo and cables/wireless.

Not so much with the basses though because that also has a lot to do with "playability" and comfort where as the other pieces of gear you are not really toting around while on stage or in the studio (be it at home or a studio). I also feel a cheep MIM Fender can sound as good as a USA made Fender (or any other brand) if decent cables/amps are used.

Again, not a true review but more of a why you chose the equipment you use over another.

Input? Whatcha think?

I don't see why you can't

I don't see why you can't sticky that kind of stuff. Those are questions that get asked all the time and since they are so frequent, why not stick them at the top of a forum. It would be easier for a savvy forum navigator to find them and look them over before posting the same question. They could simply look it over and get their answer or provide an answer to the OP.

Not a bad idear, Hazz-face...you make me proud sometimes.

I think it's a great idea.

I think it's a great idea. While you're at it, feel free to unsticky (desticky? destickify?) anything irrelevant that is still sickied.

Cheers,

Wheat
