with a set of Bassline Quarter Pounders, I actually had a set of EMG PJ-X actives ordered, but they went on backorder and I found the QPs at a local guitar store and grabbed them.
Now my old beast has a bit more roar and a lot less noise. Still have some, but have to figure out if that is a grounding issue of just the noise from a single coil pickup on the J portion.

I've got the standard DiMarzio P and J on my Fender P-Lyte. I like them. I'm certain anything from DiMarzio would be good.
