Has anyone here used the DiMarzio DP 126 P+J pickups? I'm strongly considering either putting a set of these on my bass or having them put on for me.

I've always used the stock

I've always used the stock ones, but those get good reviews over at Harmony Central: linky.

I've got the standard

I've got the standard DiMarzio P and J on my Fender P-Lyte. I like them. I'm certain anything from DiMarzio would be good.

Ended up going...

with a set of Bassline Quarter Pounders, I actually had a set of EMG PJ-X actives ordered, but they went on backorder and I found the QPs at a local guitar store and grabbed them.

Now my old beast has a bit more roar and a lot less noise. Still have some, but have to figure out if that is a grounding issue of just the noise from a single coil pickup on the J portion.
