Please could someone help me. I am desperately looking for the bass lines (music, tabs, powertabs etc) to the song "Summertime" by George Gershwin. I already have the bass lines to Janis Joplins version. Please help.

I may be able to get you the music in standard notation if you can use that. I will check and let you know.
As for tabs I have no idea where to get 'em.

Maybe search the PowerTab forum and see if anyone there has tabbed it out. They no longer allow downloads but you may get a hit.

Which version are you

Which version are you wanting to learn? I really like Lou Rawls' version. I played guitar on that one with a band once. It's a blast:

It's really one of those standards where you're better off finding a chord chart (from a Real Book) and working your own way thorough the changes. The changes to this song aren't very hard. It's basically a blues with a few extra chords and little vamp sections that hang on one chord for longer than you'd normally expect.
